POS System Upgrade overview

Coordinates the rollout of point-of-sale system upgrades across retail locations -- validating payment-terminal firmware compatibility, executing PCI-DSS compliance verification for new software versions, running end-to-end transaction-flow regression tests including EMV chip and NFC contactless paths, staging phased rollout by store cluster with automated rollback triggers, and verifying peripheral integrations (receipt printers, barcode scanners, cash drawers). Produces rollout schedules, compliance attestation records, and location-level upgrade status dashboards. Excludes POS application feature development.
