Load Testing Cycle overview

Pre-release workflow for stress-testing system behaviour under realistic and peak traffic volumes before a new version reaches production. The QA engineer and SRE collaborate on a load test plan that defines user scenarios, ramp-up curves, and success criteria (latency p95, error rate, throughput). Automated load generators execute the plan against a staging environment with production-equivalent infrastructure. Bottlenecks uncovered during testing are triaged and resolved by backend engineers, and the test is re-run until all success criteria are met and the release is cleared.
