Community Platform Setup overview

Establishes community platform infrastructure and onboarding experience -- evaluating and selecting community platforms (forum software, Discord server, Slack workspace, GitHub Discussions) based on target audience preferences and integration requirements, configuring channel structure and category taxonomy aligned with product areas and community interests, designing role hierarchies with graduated permissions for new members, active contributors, moderators, and staff, building automated onboarding flows including welcome messages, orientation content, and first-contribution prompts, integrating community identity with product accounts and SSO where applicable, setting up analytics instrumentation for engagement tracking, configuring notification and digest settings to optimize signal-to-noise ratio, and establishing bot and automation tooling for FAQ responses, thread management, and community health alerts. Produces platform architecture document, channel taxonomy, role permission matrix, and onboarding flow specification. Excludes content creation.
